Youth Community Monthly | Tea Ceremony with Kashin Kwong
Join us for a morning at the Zen Center designed for youth ages 8–18. Children and teens will engage in activities that foster awareness and connection. The morning will also include an Informal Tea Ceremony with Kashin Kwong, offering a gentle introduction to this contemplative practice.

About This Event
Join us for a morning of mindfulness and discovery at the Zen Center, designed for youth ages 8–18. While parents participate in meditation and a Dharma talk, children and teens will engage in fun, age-appropriate activities that foster awareness and connection. The morning will also include an Informal Tea Ceremony with Kashin Kwong, offering a gentle introduction to this contemplative practice. Youth activities are led by our sangha member Alexandra Thomas.
$15 admission/person.
Plan to meet at the Sangha House at 10AM.
12:15 pm–1:30 pm Buffet Lunch
Youth Community Monthly Host: Alexandra works in the field of education and is excited to share her love of learning & mindfulness with the youth in our community. She is a mother of two children who often visit SMZC. Her family lives in Vallejo, CA.
